Jeanette Hewitt's first novel was published in December 2010 by Bluewood Publishing. As well as Jeanette's published novel, she has four completed novels and is 20,000 words into a new book entitled Fear of the Market Place, which has been submitted in for The Yeovil Prize 2011.
Her short story; Ellen’s Journey, won a silver award in the author vs. author short story competition 2008, supported by the National Literary Trust. The same story was also published in the December 2007 edition of the Jimston Journal, an online literary magazine. Jeanette has also previously worked with The Front List, a website with the aim of allowing their community of writers to self-select promising work by providing detailed feedback in the form of a critique. On the back of an article that she wrote about her novel she was offered work in a freelance capacity for Spike Magazine, and is now a regular contributor. Jeanette also writes for online fashion magazine offersboutique.co.uk.
